For ten days, you sit in the presence of live Vedic recitations, a sound that settles the mind and supports lasting inner coherence. This happens during the autumn Navaratri period (nine days of Mother Divine), in Maharishi’s Peace Palace, performed by Maharishi Vedic Pandits present at MERU and connected live from India, for approximately four hours each day. The precise pronunciation and structure of this sound directly engage the physiology, in a Maharishi Vastu environment, deepening that coherence further.
Alongside the recitation, the retreat includes:
- Regular group TM and TM-Sidhi practice
- Selected knowledge recordings from Maharishi
- Forest walks in the Meinweg National Park
- Vijaya Dashami (Victory Day) Vedic celebration on 20 October
- A calm daily routine, with rest and nourishing meals
- Optional Maharishi AyurVeda treatments and a natural opportunity for a digital pause
Participants may join for the full stay (10 – 21 October) or for the shorter stay (10 – 13 October).
Navaratri: the nine days of Mother Divine
The retreat falls during Sharadiya Navaratri, nine days dedicated to Mother Divine, the source of order, affluence, and integration. The three values, Lakshmi (nourishment), Saraswati (knowledge), and Durga (power), correspond to specific areas of the physiology: the heart, head, and sacral region, as shown by Tony Nader, MD, PhD. On the tenth day, Vijaya Dashami (Victory Day), the retreat holds its dedicated Vedic celebration, an auspicious time for new beginnings.
